Problem I had in writing

While I was writing my writer's craft (figures of speech dialogue prompt), I noticed I had a really hard time putting in the details of my characters' surroundings. I just couldn't think of a way to put it in there at the time. I think maybe, if I have the characters talk about it - like kind of describe where they are headed off to, and take more notice to the surroundings (complain about it, joke about it, or compliment it). Then maybe it would be easier for the reader to understand where they are and why.

Reflection 10/2

Name one thing that has been working really well for you. Why did it seem to work well? How will it influence what you work on next week?

I think just getting stuff done on time, and using my class time wisely is one of the things that work out well for me. I never really fool around in class and I'm always doing what I'm suppose to do, when it comes to writing (even though I may not be the best at it). I think just the habit of being able to focus on my writing in class will have a great influence on what I work on next week.
